Job Description
Planning Engineer duties will include:
Ensure the maintenance of construction programs using Microsoft Project or P6 schedule. Collaborate with the construction team to develop short-term programs. Assist in identifying schedule risks, mitigations, and opportunities. Maintain periodic reports and tracking schedules. Evaluate subcontractor programs. Provide support for substantiating entitlement claims.
Education and Experience
The candidate must hold a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Engineering, or related disciplines. Possess 3 years of relevant experience in a main contractor role. Proficient in using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. Have a good understanding of construction methodologies. Demonstrate a good understanding of MEP installation. Experience in project delivery. Membership in a professional association is ideal.
