Job Description

The responsibilities of the MEP Testing and Commissioning Manager include but are not limited to:

Overseeing, managing, and directing Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities safely and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. Developing and reviewing T&C procedures, assess site activities for risks and issues, and ensure the availability of suitable tools, materials, and equipment. Supervising supplier and subcontractor activities, address project issues, manage changes, mitigate risks, and uphold quality standards.

Coordinating all testing and commissioning tasks for electrical equipment and systems, including conducting site surveys, drafting procedures, and analyzing risks. Representing the company in technical meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and report construction progress according to project guidelines. Cultivating strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, and foster cooperation with major suppliers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project operations.

Facilitating collaboration with representatives from other contractors, promoting cooperation and a productive working environment. Guiding team members in addressing public complaints and implementing corrective actions to resolve any inconveniences effectively.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 8 to 10 years’ experience in construction, preferably in LTA/MRT sector. They need a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience specifically in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) supervision in a similar role.
