Job Description

The responsibilities of the Document Controller include but are not limited to:

Providing administrative, clerical, and secretarial assistance to ensure an efficient and effective project office management related to the new build manufacturing project. Taking, directing, and relaying fax and telephone messages.

Maintaining the general filing system and file all correspondence. Helping in the planning and preparation conferences, meetings, and conference telephone calls. Making appointment and manage diaries. Preparing and distributing papers and documents for meetings.

Scanning, sending, and logging all documents and drawings on the internal system. Planning, administering, and recording document flow to and from all appropriate parties including the external and internal suppliers and the project office.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Secretarial, Administration or equivalent. At least 2 years’ working experience within the oil and gas industry in a similar role will be preferable. Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications. Must have good spoken and written communications skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
