Job Description

The Senior Planning Engineer will independently work using the recognised delay methodologies and implement the most appropriate one in a given situation whilst identifying and assessing delay. Execute both retrospective and prospective type of analysis. Prepare Extension of Time submissions that contain comprehensive delay analysis for the assigned construction projects. Perform critical path analysis of schedules whilst determining existence of concurrent delay. Analyse disruption claims and ensure to demonstrate consequent entitlement to Extension of Time and additional cost.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will be Construction Planning Engineer who has at least 10 years or experience in project planning, monitoring and control with contractors, involving medium to large scale projects.  Construction claims experience is required. Hands-on construction experience in delay analysis and programming is vital. Must have experience in retrospective and prospective delay analysis with the use of Microsoft Project and Primavera.

The candidate must be capable of meeting tight deadlines and be wiling to put in extra commitment and effort whenever needed. Excellent command of English language (spoken and written) will be important to have for this role. Must also be fluent spoken and written Cantonese.
