Job Description

The responsibilities of the Site Quantity Surveyor include but are not limited to:

Continuously analyze project revenues and both direct and indirect costs compared to forecasts. Assess and value sub-contracts, aiding in payment management and reaching agreements on interim payments. Review documents to pinpoint value variations, manage subcontract payments, and prepare subcontract liabilities.

Report any deviations from the plan to supervisors for necessary action planning and corrections. Evaluate contract documents, such as bills of quantities and specifications, to determine contract sums and identify potential cost-saving opportunities or risks. Conduct cost analysis, budgeting control, and record collation.

Provide precise data for monthly progress claims to the client. Manage cash flow, perform contract valuations, and deliver regular financial reports. Handle change management with the client to ensure time and cost recovery.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. They should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with preference given to those with NEC experience. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
