Job Description

The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

Developing and updating MEP cost estimates for engineering projects, ranging from initial budgets to detailed design phases. Conducting thorough cost analysis, providing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and other expenses. Advising on cost-saving strategies and prepare bills of quantities.

Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Manage contracts, negotiate progress payments, and assess variations and claims. Monitoring project expenses, ensuring proper financial management, and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders. Perform other duties as needed.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, or equivalent trade experience. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost engineering or construction cost estimating, with proven ability to manage complex projects.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of engineering materials and construction methods, familiarity with estimating software, and excellent communication skills are essential. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.
