Our client a technical construction consultancy is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to join its team based in Brisbane due to an organic increase in workload in the energy, construction and infrastructure sectors. The consultancy provides a range of professional services to its established client base and is looking for permanent staff to support clients and a range of projects in the Brisbane area.
Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyors will be responsible for the following key deliverables: Procurement, Contract Administration, Value Engineering, Cost Analysis and Reporting, Valuations, Sub-contractor management/Payments, Variations, and Claims.
Education and Experience
To be eligible to apply for the Senior Quantity Surveying role you must be living in Australia and have the right to work in Queensland. You should have at least 5 years’ experience in at least one the following sectors, construction, energy or infrastructure. Preferably you will be qualified professionally and hold either RICS or AIQS membership.
Our client will consider applications from those with an LLM, CIArb or CIOB membership if you possess the right level of experience. You should have strong experience in procurement, budgeting and cost analysis, subcontract management, contract administration though to final account.
You will be a natural and clear communicator both verbally and in writing and be comfortable managing various demands from a range of stakeholders.
