Our Client is an international Claims Consultant that provides construction contract consultancy services to the construction engineering, power, process, petrochemical and oil and gas industries worldwide dealing specifically with the many disputes and varied problems which frequently arise.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality consultancy services that include the following:

Contract administration involving the disputes and claims under construction contracts. Preparation of extension of time, loss and expense and variation claims. Analysis of claims received from contractors/sub-contractors on behalf of Employers / Owners.

Education and Experience

Candidates will have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building Technology / Construction Management / Civil/Structural Engineering / Architecture or its equivalent. Will be advantageous to have knowledge in contracts. Must have at least 10 years’ working experience. Will be able to meet tight deadlines, can work under pressure, and can work independently.

Experience in preparation of analysis of claims and provisions of contractual advice would be a distinct advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word is required; experience in using Microsoft Project or Primavera is an advantage. Will have excellent spoken and written English skills. Possess high level of integrity, strong analytical and organisational skills. must have the ability to communicate & coordinate effectively within the team.
