Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

Ensuring all project activities adhere to Hong Kong building codes, best practices, and statutory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. Effectively engaging and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and project teams, to ensure project alignment and success. Identifying potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to prevent delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.

Leading the development and execution of detailed project implementation plans, ensuring milestones are met according to the established schedule. Applying in-depth technical knowledge to oversee design coordination, manage project schedules, and control budgets, ensuring all elements align with project goals and requirements.

Ensuring all team members have the appropriate qualifications and certifications required for their roles, in line with project needs and local regulations. Leveraging previous client or consultancy project management experience to drive successful project delivery and maintain client satisfaction. Maintaining clear, consistent communication with all project parties, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth collaboration and issue resolution.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate must have 3-4 years of experience in construction or project management, specifically within CRES (Corporate Real Estate Services) and office refurbishment A&A (Alteration and Addition) works. Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively engage and coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Strong programme and cost management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong communication skills in both English and Cantonese. Must be able to work in Hong. Familiarity or direct experience with PMC (Project Management Consultant) practices, including working with consultants on project delivery.
