Job Description

This position provides a chance to be part of a well-established team with a Global network of offices. You will work closely with Asian and Middle east offices on marine infrastructure projects. Contributing to diverse projects in marine, coastal, jetties across the APAC region. You will be heading up a team that is responsible for designing structures such as quay walls, jetties, dolphins, slipways, and berthing and mooring systems.

The role also involves providing technical guidance to junior engineers, collaborating within a team, and communicating technical details with clients and design team members. Writing technical reports and ensuring designs align with industry standards are key aspects of the position.

Education and Experience

Candidates should hold an relevant Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree. Chartered or near-chartered status is required, with a strong commitment to professional development. Experience in designing marine structures and familiarity with FE modeling software such as STAAD Pro, LUSAS, or SAP 2000 is essential.

A solid understanding of buildability, maritime standards such as and experience in marine geotechnics or temporary works design is desirable. Proficiency in software like Optimoor, Wallap, and Plaxis is an advantage.
