Job Description
As a Data Center Project Manager, you’ll take a leading role in guiding projects from the ground up. You’ll be a regular presence on-site, closely tracking progress and making sure safety remains a top priority at all times. Working closely with the client, consultants, and contractors, you’ll coordinate all snagging activities, manage schedules, and help maintain productive working relationships across the board.
You’ll play a key part in identifying potential issues early and working with the team to resolve them before they become problems. You’ll also help implement and refine project procedures, using your experience to improve workflows and ensure things run smoothly.
Regular meetings will be a core part of your role, both to keep the team aligned and to communicate progress or challenges clearly and confidently. This is a hands-on position where you’ll help shape the outcome of complex projects through proactive leadership and collaboration.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing data center projects, with a background in either MEP, CSA, or both. A degree in construction or project management is preferred, but equivalent industry experience is also valued. If you’re working toward a professional project management certification, that’s a plus; and support is available to help you get there.
You pay close attention to detail, focus on quality, and communicate clearly in both spoken and written forms. Just as important, you know how to build strong working relationships and bring a sense of shared purpose and openness to your team.
