Job Description

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

Ensuring effective of contract administration and management. Reviewing the contract document, tender document, procurement, and award of contract to sub-contractor. Ensuring tender document are completed on time and maintain a proper record of all pricing, document, drawings and samples.

Monitoring and verifying all progressive claims to contractors, subcontractor, and consultants. Liaise with clients, consultant, subcontractor, and suppliers.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 10 years in a similar role within the construction industry. RICS, CIArb or any similar qualifications is ideal to have but not required.

Candidate must have a sound working experience on construction claims and have worked with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and developers. Must have a proven experience in defending claims from or preparing claims against consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and developers. Needs to have knowledge and experience with all types of contracts such as PAM and FIDIC.
