Job Description

The Contract Administrator will work under the Commercial and Contracts Manager, overseeing all aspects of contract management for active projects. Responsibilities include preparing variations, extensions of time, and payment claims, while ensuring compliance with the head contract.

Manage subcontractors by assessing claims, variations, and other contractual notifications. Provide commercial support during contract reviews and negotiating departures. Serve as a crucial source of commercial and contractual advice to the Project Manager and the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate must have 7 years of experience in a commercial or contracts position, preferably from the energy or construction sector. Experience in upstream customer management is also highly regarded. A solid understanding of construction contracts and contract management processes is essential, along with strong commercial acumen.

A degree in Business, such as Commerce, or Engineering is preferred, or an equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience in a similar role. Must be able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
