Job Description

The Senior Planning Engineer will independently work using recognised delay methodologies and implement the most appropriate method whilst identifying and assessing delay. Execute both retrospective and prospective analysis. Perform critical path analysis of schedules and determine presence of concurrent delay. Prepare Extension of Time submissions with comprehensive delay analysis for all assigned projects. Analyse loss of productivity or disruption claims and demonstrate consequent entitlement to Extension of Time and additional cost.

Education and Experience

The candidate should be a Construction Planning Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in project planning, monitoring, and control on medium to large scale projects. Experience in prospective and retrospective delay analysis using Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software, as well as experience in programming and delay analysis will be vital to have. Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines and be willing to put in extra effort and commitment whenever necessary. Experience in construction claims is highly beneficial.
